Below you can read my days thoughts on running. Some days I
will write about my day on the road. Some days I will write about
thoughts on training, racing, efficiency, marathons, or whatever
crosses my mind while I am on the road. Perhaps you will laugh.
Perhaps you will be inspired. On occasion you may even be saddened.
I post these thoughts just to keep the thought of today's run fresh...
If anything below inspires you, drop me a line and let me know.

Well today's run was quite cold. The air temperature was a balmy 17 degrees, while the wind chill was into the single digits. I found the cold pretty refreshing today, except for the cold toes. Feeling the cold breeze on my face was rather invigorating. I am not sure if it was the cold or the days off last week, but my legs were feeling a little stiff today. I managed a reasonable time, but I felt pretty stiff at the end. I will have to make sure I get in a good stretch tonight...

Boy oh boy. Life got a hold of me at the end of last week. I got out today for the first time since last Wednesday. That is 4 days in a row without a run. I could definately tell how long it had been on my run today. I did loosen up eventually, but it took the better part of the first two miles. I hope I don't feel it even more tomorrow...

This morning’s run was quite beneficial. I am faced with a pretty significant career decision right now. On one hand I have the opportunity to work on some pretty interesting, challenging, and prestigious projects. On the other hand, I have satisfactory work, and a much more flexible work environment. This flexible environment allows me the opportunity to develop Course Performance, spend time with my family, and pay the bills. I was able put some serious thought into this decision on my run this morning. I am leaning toward the flexible job right now, but that could all change in the drop of a hat. I may have to sneak out for a relatively long run tomorrow to try to nail down this decision. Some people have lists to help with these difficult decisions, I have my runs!
