Below you can read my days thoughts on running. Some days
I will write about my day on the road. Some days I will write
about thoughts on training, racing, efficiency, marathons, or
whatever crosses my mind while I am on the road. Perhaps you
will laugh. Perhaps you will be inspired. On occasion you may
even be saddened. I post these thoughts just to keep the thought
of today's run fresh... If anything below inspires you, drop
me a line and let me know. comments@courseperformance.com

Tuesday, March 21
It has been a while since I have checked in. I have been putting
in some pretty good miles over the last few weeks. I had 2 50+
mile weeks in a row (which is quite a bit more than I have done
in the past). I was feeling a little run down, so I took it
easy last week. After my week of rest, I put in a really hard
6 miles on Monday. My PR for my 6 mile loop is 34:50. I ran
a 35:05 on Monday. I really needed that confidence boost as
Boston approaches.
Thursday, March 2
It was snowing today at lunch time. The temperature was relatively
warm, but the snow made for a tough run. It was more the snow
pelting me in the face, than the cold, or slippery street...
Wednesday, March 1
Well I put in a hard six miles today. It was quite cold and
very windy, so I can't say that it was my hardest. My loop time
was 36:04. Significantly longer than my best, but better that
last week, so I will take it.
