Below you can read my days thoughts on running. Some days I will write about my day on the road. Some days I will write about thoughts on training, racing, efficiency, marathons, or whatever crosses my mind while I am on the road. Perhaps you will laugh. Perhaps you will be inspired. On occasion you may even be saddened. I post these thoughts just to keep the thought of today's run fresh... If anything below inspires you, drop me a line and let me know. comments@courseperformance.com

Well It has been a few weeks since I ran it, but the Hogsback 1/2 marathon treated me very well. I ran a PR by over 1 minute (1:19:20). My previous half marathon PR was from the Hogsback las year. The weather was similar; however, my training showed improvement in my efficiency. This is how I achieved the PR.

I also ran the Hartford Marathon this past Saturday. The day was beautiful. The temperatures started in the high 30's and climbed into the low 50's by the finish. I ran as a pace setter for the 3:30 group. I had a great group this year, and about 10 of us all finished within 1 minute of 3:30. Thanks to all who ran with me. I will see many of you in Boston!
