FAQ
Q. How does Course Performance know how I should run a marathon?
A. Course Performance has determined several characteristics about a runner and a runner's fitness level that determine what pace a runner can compete at. A non-exhaustive 30 minute workout can tell us what we need to know about you to plan an ideal marathon for you.

Q. I have read that your marathon time can be estimate based on shorter race times. Why is Course Performance any better than this?
A. There is some historical correlation between shorter race times, and marathon times. This is a very generic correlation. Course Performance offers race planning based on your personal fitness level, and the actual course being run. It is much more personal, and accurate.

Q. I have read that maxVO2 is the key to the marathon. Is this all the Course Performance does?
A. Course Performance does use maxVO2 as part of its calculations, but it is not the largest contributor. Course Performance has determined several other parameters which are as important, if not more important than maxVO2. This is supported by some of the latest research as well.

Q. Who does Course Performance work for?
A. Anyone who has trained, and is conditioned to complete the distance being raced.

Q. How does Course Performance know if I am going to have a good day or a bad day?
A. Every runner knows that racing is not an exact science. If you roll an ankle during the race, or drink some sour milk prior to the race, your performance will not be ideal. What Course Performance offers is a look at what your optimum race should be. Provided you do not run into any unforeseen incidents, your Course Performance plan will work for you.

Q. Does anyone else offer this service?
A. Course Performance has applied for patents protecting this new technology. We are the only company to offer such a service.
